Welcome to Echo Clone AI. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Echo Clone AI platform, website (echoclone.pk), mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them and all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Description of Service
Echo Clone AI provides AI-powered text-to-speech (TTS) and voice cloning services, allowing users to:
- Convert written text into natural-sounding speech in 600+ languages
- Clone voices from submitted audio samples
- Generate long-form audio content up to 5 hours per request
- Access these features via our web interface at app.echoclone.pk
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account. Notify us immediately via WhatsApp if you suspect unauthorised access.
3.3 Account Termination by User
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund unless covered under our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not:
- Use the Service to create deepfakes, disinformation, or fraudulent audio content
- Clone a voice without the explicit consent of the voice owner
- Impersonate any person or entity using generated voices
- Use the Service for harassment, defamation, or unlawful purposes
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models
- Resell, sublicence, or redistribute the Service without written permission
- Violate any applicable laws including copyright, privacy, or data protection laws
5. Voice Cloning Consent
Voice cloning is a powerful technology that requires responsible use. By submitting audio for voice cloning, you warrant and represent that:
- You are the voice owner submitting your own voice, OR
- You have obtained explicit, documented consent from the voice owner
- The cloned voice will be used only for lawful, non-deceptive purposes
You accept full legal responsibility for all voice cloning activities on your account. Echo Clone AI bears no liability for misuse of voice cloning features.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Platform IP
All technology, code, AI models, designs, trademarks, and content comprising the Echo Clone AI platform are our exclusive intellectual property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
6.2 User Content
You retain ownership of text inputs and source audio you submit. By using the Service, you grant Echo Clone AI a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to process your inputs solely to provide and improve the Service.
6.3 Generated Audio
Audio generated using paid plans is owned by you for commercial and personal use, subject to these Terms. Free plan output may be restricted to personal, non-commercial use.
7. Subscription & Payments
7.1 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Prices are as displayed on our Pricing page at the time of purchase.
7.2 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
7.3 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' prior notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of new pricing.
7.4 Failed Payments
If payment fails, your account may be suspended until payment is resolved. We will attempt to notify you before suspension.
8. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Please read it carefully before subscribing.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ECHO CLONE AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Echo Clone AI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you create using the Service.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally before initiating legal proceedings.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
